Hume Lake was amazing. Probably the single most challenging thing Casey and I have done since being married. 30 youth. 2 weeks. 0 sleep. In-n-out. craziness. FUN. JESUS. No, but seriously it was so awesome. So neat to see kids from Maui press into Jesus and be so stoked on Him. We road tripped ourselves all around San Francisco (Giants game, movies, Fisherman's Wharf, chowder, the bush man etc.. etc..) then all the way up to Lake Hume. At Hume Lake they have all these biathalons and relay's... so proud of our Maui youth they rocked them! Maui kids are hilarious on the mainland. Sometimes, Hawaii feels like it's own country-- like we aren't even in the United States... apart from the touristy areas.. it can be a little third world.

HA. Casey was tired at this point, but I on the other hand was chipper and as hyper as could be! I already had about 3 cups of coffee at this point! weeeeeee!
