Hello friends, family, and strangers!
It's been a while since I last updated you all. Casey and I have been so busy-- it's been a whirlwind! Two weekends ago, Casey and I were blessed to have the opportunity to go to the Hawaiian Islands Ministry Conference (H.I.M.) on Oahu. I can't even begin to express how radically and powerfully God moved. The conference was held at the Hawaii Convention Center, mind you--- this building is just gigantic. It was 3 or 4 stories tall with many very large conference rooms and ball room type things, and the place was packed! There were so many people and youth it was almost overwhelming. For a second it reminded me of Thailand-- lots of asians and really really crowded :) Anyway, it was so GOOD for Casey and I too see so many people intentionally seeking out God and desiring to press into Him. From Casey's experience growing up on Maui and my experience praying for Hawaii and with YWAM on the Big Island, we both see such specific spiritual strongholds over these islands. There is a battle going on in Hawaii over complacency in people's hearts-- we see a fear of stepping out of what is comfortable and easy-- a resistance to sacrificing what is necessary in order to be closer to God. But we truly believe that God wants to do something so powerful here---God wants to train up the people in the Hawaiian Islands, especially the youth-- to train their hands for battle and for them to LIVE for Him-- engaged, unashamed, disciplined, and obsessively passionate for Jesus Christ.
And where was I going with this?.... ... Oh yes so, for the last few months Casey and I have really been identifying with some of these strongholds and going to H.I.M. was like the coldest most refreshing drink from the wellspring of life. To see so many people from Hawaii, gathered in one place, to seek the things of God...... win!
PS- Some of the kids from our youth group came too! Praise the Lord for all the good things He is doing in their hearts. Amen! ...... aaaaannnndddd David Crowder played. yup.
The islands will look to Me and wait in hope for My arm Isa.51.5.
Four in the Morning... getting ready to get on the plane to go to H.I.M. Now, as you can see Casey pretty tired... I on the other hand was a ball of energy! weeee!
They had a separate conference for the youth.. I went to one with the girls, it was prettttyyyy awesome. 
They were excited :) :)
This was like the 4th workshop in... it was around late afternoon after lunch... we were fading. 
David Crowder. The kids made a dancing train and danced all around the ball room. I wish I got a picture of it.. it was so loooonnngg!!
